PS24HD-C-D-N-C — PowerScout 24 HD Multi-Circuit Power Submeter
The Dent Instruments PS24HD-C-D-N-C is the PowerScout 24 HD, DENT's networked 24-channel, three-phase submeter. The PS24HD-C-D-N-C measures voltage, current, power, energy, and many other electrical parameters on any combination of single- and three-phase loads — up to 8 three-phase or 24 single-phase circuits across two voltage references — and can network with other PowerScout HD meters to cover multiple loads across a facility.
Looking ahead? The PowerScout FLEX 24 is DENT's next-generation replacement for the PowerScout HD — faster commissioning with FLEXPoint™, browser-based FLEXPoint™ GO, flexible Virtual Meters, and 7.2 kHz sampling.
See the PowerScout FLEX 24 →The PS24HD-C-D-N-C delivers revenue-grade performance with 1.8 kHz sampling, a 1-second update rate, and ANSI C12.20-2010 Class 0.2 accuracy (depending on CT). It supports both Modbus (SunSpec IEEE-754) and BACnet over RS-485 or Ethernet, includes four digital pulse inputs, and provides a 12 VDC auxiliary output. DENT's patented PhaseChek™ circuitry (U.S. Patent 7,612,552) confirms correct CT orientation during commissioning.
This is the CW&M (California Weights & Measures) revenue option: the PS24HD-C-D-N-C is approved under the California Type Evaluation Program (CTEP), Certificate 5923-23, for use as a multi-channel watthour metering system in legal sub-metered electric service. It includes the tamper-evident sealing provisions required by CTEP and must be used with CTEP-approved revenue-grade CTs (CT-RGT, CT-RGTM, or CT-SRL series).
Built as a UL-Listed ABS enclosure, the PS24HD-C-D-N-C is delivered in the Enclosure configuration with a high-voltage cover and is configured through ViewPoint HD PC software or a web browser. It operates as an endpoint reporting to a building management system, RTU, data acquisition device, or DENTCloud™ host.

Key Features
CW&M Legal-for-Trade (CTEP)
The PS24HD-C-D-N-C is approved under the California Type Evaluation Program (CTEP), Certificate 5923-23, for legal sub-metered electric service, with tamper-evident sealing and CTEP-approved revenue-grade CTs (CT-RGT, CT-RGTM, CT-SRL).
Revenue-Grade Accuracy + PhaseChek™
The PS24HD-C-D-N-C meets ANSI C12.20-2010 Class 0.2 revenue-grade accuracy (dependent on CT) with NIST-traceable calibration, and patented PhaseChek™ circuitry (U.S. Patent 7,612,552) flags mis-phased or backwards CTs during commissioning.
Dual-Protocol + 4 Pulse Inputs
The PS24HD-C-D-N-C communicates over Modbus (SunSpec IEEE-754) or BACnet using RS-485 or Ethernet (Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, or BACnet IP) and adds four digital pulse inputs for gas, water, or other meters.
24 Channels, One Device
Meter up to 8 three-phase or 24 single-phase circuits across two voltage references from a single PS24HD-C-D-N-C, reducing hardware and panel space versus single-circuit meters.
ViewPoint HD Setup
Configure the PS24HD-C-D-N-C from ViewPoint HD or a web browser, scan the network to find and name every PowerScout HD meter, and pre-build configuration templates — even without the meter on hand — for fast, repeatable deployment.
Universal CT Compatibility
Use the PS24HD-C-D-N-C with DENT 333 mV Split Core or RōCoil™ (Rogowski) CTs, including revenue-grade options, measuring up to 4000 A depending on the CT selected.
