The BA/DSM Door Switch Magnet works with BAPI's Wireless Quantum Slim sensor to monitor the open/closed status of doors including refrigerators, freezers, outside doors, and garbage gates. The door switch magnet pickup is already built into every Quantum Slim unit — the BA/DSM magnet is the only additional part required.
Best for: Adding door open/close monitoring to any BAPI-Stat Quantum Slim wireless sensor. No sensor modification required — the pickup is pre-installed in every Quantum Slim including those with remote probes or thermobuffers.
Use Only the BAPI BA/DSM Magnet
Other magnets may damage the sensor or affect temperature accuracy. Mount the BA/DSM so that when the door is closed, the magnet is within 0.4 in (10mm) of the lower right side of the Quantum Slim. Mount with double-sided tape or screws. When used with the receiver, a Relay Output Module (RYOM) is required to convert the digital signal to a relay contact.
