The BA/HQX-B-A-1-X29-X is a BAPI-Stat Quantum combination room temperature and humidity sensor with a 10K-2 Thermistor temperature element and 4-20 mA humidity output. An on-unit slider provides occupant setpoint adjustment with a No Setpoint display range and Special (29) output to the controller. The capacitive polymer humidity element is factory-calibrated to ±2% RH at 25°C across the 20 to 80% RH range.

What setpoint output options are available with the 4-20 mA humidity model?
On 4-20 mA humidity output models, voltage-output setpoints (0-5V or 0-10V) are not available because the 4-20 mA current loop shares the COM terminal. Resistive setpoint outputs (0-1KΩ, 0-10KΩ, 0-20KΩ, etc.) are fully supported.
What is the humidity sensor accuracy?
±2% RH at 25°C (77°F) across the 20 to 80% RH range, using a capacitive polymer sensing element. Field calibration adjustment of ±5% RH in 0.1% increments is available.
What temperature sensor is included in the BA/HQX-B-A-1-X29-X?
This unit is configured with a 10K Type II Thermistor. The temperature sensor is passive (resistance output) and connects to terminals SEN1 and SEN2.
Can this sensor be field-calibrated?
Yes. Humidity offset is set via potentiometer R12 on the circuit board, providing ±5% RH adjustment in 0.1% increments. A high-accuracy humidity reference is recommended.
