The PXP*.3 is an electric-to-pneumatic transducer that converts an analog electrical input signal into a proportional pneumatic output. It automatically adjusts its control valve(s) to maintain the branch line pressure at a selected set point determined by the input signal. The PXP*.3 offers four selectable input ranges, resulting in a 0 to 15 psig modulating output (note that the EPC product provides 0 to 20 psig outputs). It also provides a 0-5 VDC feedback signal that corresponds linearly to the branch pressure (0 volts = 0 psig, 5 volts = 15 psig).

PXP2.3 incorporates two valves and doesn't use air at the set point. Its branch exhaust flow and response time are similar to the load rate. If power fails to the PXP2.3 and there's no air leakage in the branch line, the branch line pressure remains constant. PXP2.3FS is equipped with a normally open branch exhaust valve to release branch air on power failure. It also has a manual override (jumper selectable) for adjusting the output pressure, and custom calibration is available upon request for an additional charge, which can expedite installation.

These devices are suitable for various applications, including Three-Way Mixing Valve Control, Pilot Positioner Control, Pneumatic Valve & Damper Actuator Control, Fan Vane Control, DDC Control, and Above Ceiling Applications involving mixing and VAV boxes.
