The BAPI Wireless BLE Gateway (BA/GTW-BLE) receives data from up to 32 Bluetooth Low Energy sensors and delivers it to the cloud via MQTT over your local 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Remote sensor configuration, alert thresholds, and trend monitoring are managed through BAPI's WAM (Wireless Asset Monitoring) web portal — no physical access to sensors required after installation.
Best for: Cloud-based wireless monitoring via WAM dashboard where BMS integration is not needed. Ideal for temperature, humidity, and light level monitoring across HVAC, refrigeration, and food service applications.
The BA/GTW-BLE is backed by BAPI's 5-year warranty. Sensors automatically store up to 16,000 readings each if Wi-Fi drops, then transmit all stored data once the connection is restored. Firmware updates for the gateway and sensors are delivered over the air through WAM (FOTA).
2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Only — 5 GHz Not Supported
The gateway communicates on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only and will not connect to 5 GHz networks. Your router must have the 2.4 GHz band enabled. Some enterprise access points with band-steering may require configuration to allow 2.4 GHz-only devices.
Cloud Connectivity via MQTT
Delivers sensor data to the cloud over existing Wi-Fi. Integrates with BAPI WAM for live dashboards, configurable alerts, and trend logging — no BMS or controller required.
Sensor Memory Mode
If Wi-Fi is lost, sensors store up to 16,000 readings each. All stored data transmits automatically once connectivity is restored — no readings are lost.
Remote Configuration via WAM
Sample rate, transmit interval, delta temp/humidity, min/max alerts, and calibration offsets are all adjustable remotely through the WAM portal without touching any sensor.
FOTA Firmware Updates
Firmware updates for both the gateway and all paired sensors are pushed over the air through WAM. No site visits or USB cables required.
TLS 1.2 and AES-128 Security
Wi-Fi data uses TLS 1.2 encryption. Bluetooth data uses 128-bit AES. All sensor readings and settings are user/password protected through WAM.
Wall or Surface Mountable
Removable keyhole base plate for wall or surface mounting in any orientation. The supplied antennas must be used — non-BAPI antennas may violate FCC regulations.
