The BAPI Wireless BLE Receiver (BA/RCV-BLE-EZ) is the hub of the BAPI analog wireless system. It collects data from up to 28 Bluetooth Low Energy sensors and distributes it to up to 127 Analog Output Modules through a four-wire serial network. Output modules convert the wireless signal to analog resistance, voltage, or relay contacts — making wireless sensor data completely transparent to existing BAS controller inputs.
Best for: BAS integrators retrofitting wired sensor inputs with wireless BLE sensors without changing controllers or controller programming. Also the correct choice when BACnet IP or BACnet MS/TP network integration is needed via paired digital output modules.
The BA/RCV-BLE-EZ carries BAPI's 5-year warranty. Only 10 modules can be powered directly from the receiver. For more than 10 modules, use BAPI VC350A EZ voltage converters with separate transformers for each additional group of up to 10 modules.
28 Sensors, 127 Output Modules
Supports 28 wireless sensors and up to 127 output modules of any type — ROM, VOM, SOM, RYOM, BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, and Modbus RTU — simultaneously.
DIP Switch Settings
Sample rate (30 sec to 5 min), transmit rate (1 to 30 min), delta temp (1 or 3°F/C), and delta humidity (3 or 5% RH) are all adjustable via DIP switches. Settings apply to all paired sensors.
Magnetic-Base Antenna
The antenna has a magnetic base for mounting outside any metal enclosure. The receiver can be inside metal, but the antenna must be outside with a non-metallic line of sight to sensors.
4,000 ft Bus Distance
Output modules can be mounted up to 4,000 ft (1,200 m) from the receiver using shielded twisted pair. A separate power supply is required beyond 100 ft.
