Room Status Monitors

Room status monitors continuously measure and display the differential pressure between a controlled room and its reference space, giving staff an at-a-glance indication that containment or protection is holding. They are essential for hospital isolation rooms, operating rooms, laboratories, cleanrooms, pharmacy compounding (USP 797/800), and other critical environments. ZOT stocks the full Dwyer RSM line — standard Room Status Monitors and StabiliSENSE Critical models — with visual and audible alarms, selectable analog outputs, and BACnet/Modbus communication for building automation.

Choosing the Right Monitor — Three Specs to Lock
1

Application & Range

Standard RSM: general room pressure status and alarm StabiliSENSE Critical: for isolation, OR, and containment rooms Range: ±0.05 to ±2.5 in w.c. Direction: bidirectional (positive/negative) or unidirectional

2

Display & Communication

Color touchscreen: 4.3 in display for live status and setup LCD with RGB backlight: green/red room-status indication BACnet MS/TP + Modbus RTU: integration with the BAS Output: selectable 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, or 0-10 V

3

Build & Power

Bezel: plastic or stainless steel, flush wall mount Sensor: capacitive dead-ended, piezoresistive, or capacitance cell Accuracy: ±0.25% to ±1.0% RSS by model Power: 24 VAC/VDC or 120 VAC

Tip: Use the filters on the left to narrow by series, product class, pressure range, range type, display, accuracy, and power supply. For critical-containment spaces such as isolation rooms and compounding pharmacies, choose the StabiliSENSE Critical series.
