The Dwyer ADPS-07-2-N-C is the installer-kit version of the popular ADPS HVAC differential pressure switch, supplied with two plastic static pressure tips and seven feet of PVC tubing so the switch can be plumbed and commissioned out of one box. It covers a setpoint range of 4.00-20.00 in WC (1000-5000 Pa), uses a silicone diaphragm and SPDT relay output, and is field-adjusted with a dual-scaled knob (in WC and pascals) that lets a technician set the trip point without a separate manometer. Electrical entry is via M20x1.5 cable gland, and the housing is rated NEMA 13 (IP54) for typical HVAC indoor installation. The ADPS-07-2-N-C is CE marked for general HVAC use, and is rated for air and other non-combustible, non-aggressive gases only.

Best for: high-static fan supervision, baghouse and cyclone dP alarms, and industrial process dP. The included installer kit (two static tips + seven feet of PVC tubing) is sized for a typical duct install, so the contractor doesn't need a separate trip to the supply house.
5-YEAR
WARRANTY
Manufacturer-backed coverage. Dwyer Series ADPS/EDPS switches carry a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. ZOT Supply is an authorized Dwyer distributor; product ships factory-new with full manufacturer warranty intact and access to Dwyer technical support.
What's in the box (installer kit): one ADPS switch with M20 cable gland, two plastic static pressure tips, and seven feet (2.1 m) of PVC tubing. Mounting brackets (A-288 L-bracket, A-289 S-bracket) sold separately.

Key Features

Dual-Scale Field-Adjustable Knob

Setpoint is dialed in with a labeled knob graduated in both inches WC and pascals. Technicians can commission the switch without a separate digital manometer, which cuts installation and balancing time on large jobs.

Compact 4.4 oz Form Factor

Switch weighs just 125 grams and mounts directly to wall, sheet metal, or via the optional A-288 L-bracket or A-289 S-bracket. The base also accepts snap-on rail clips, so the same SKU works for permanent installs and quick service replacements.

SPDT Relay for BAS/DDC Integration

Single-pole double-throw relay rated 1.5 A resistive / 0.4 A inductive at 250 VAC. Common, normally-open, and normally-closed contacts are available on push-on screw terminals - drops straight into DDC, BAS, or stand-alone control wiring.

Three-Side Cable Entry

M20x1.5 cable gland with integral strain relief can be installed at any of three housing positions, which lets the installer route cable from whichever side keeps the run cleanest. Seal accepts 7 mm or 10 mm cable sheaths.

Long Mechanical Life

Silicone diaphragm and over 1,000,000 mechanical switching operations rated. The switch is designed for continuous duty in HVAC service with no scheduled maintenance beyond periodic calibration checks.

Installer Kit Included

Ships with two plastic static pressure tips and seven feet of PVC tubing - everything needed to plumb the high and low ports into a duct or AHU on the same delivery, no separate accessory order required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What pressure range does the ADPS-07-2-N-C cover?
This SKU is the -07 range, with an adjustable setpoint of 4.00-20.00 in WC (1000-5000 Pa). Approximate deadband is 1.00 in WC (250 Pa) at the minimum setpoint and 1.40 in WC (350 Pa) at the maximum setpoint. Maximum operating overpressure is 40 in WC (10 kPa) and storage temperature range is -40 to 185 F.
What does the dual-scale adjustment knob do?
The adjustment knob is graduated in two unit systems on the same dial - inches of water column on one side, pascals on the other - so a technician can dial in the switching pressure directly without converting units or attaching a manometer. The scale is calibrated for vertical mounting with the pressure ports pointing down; if the switch is mounted horizontally, the actual trip point is approximately 0.08 in WC (20 Pa) higher than the scale reading.
Can the ADPS-07-2-N-C be used with natural gas or other combustible gases?
No. The ADPS and EDPS series are rated only for air and non-combustible, non-aggressive gases. Use with combustible or aggressive media can cause operating faults or unsafe conditions. For natural gas service in hazardous-location areas, see the explosion-proof Dwyer Series 1950G family instead.
How is the ADPS-07-2-N-C different from the standard ADPS-07-2-N?
The -C suffix denotes the installer-kit version. The switch itself is identical to the standard ADPS-07-2-N with M20 cable gland entry. The -C SKU additionally ships with two plastic static pressure tips and seven feet of 1/4 in ID PVC tubing, which is generally everything a contractor needs to plumb the high and low ports into a duct or AHU without a separate accessory order.
How is the ADPS different from the EDPS?
Same external footprint, same SPDT switch mechanism, same dual-scale knob, same performance ratings. The EDPS upgrades the housing plastics to UL94 V-0 flame rating and adds ETL listing to UL508 / CSA C22.2 No. 14. Pick the EDPS when the switch will be installed inside a UL-listed control panel or in a return-air plenum per NFPA 90A. The ADPS is the right choice for general HVAC monitoring where those listings are not required.
How do I install the static pressure tips and tubing?
Each plastic static pressure tip mounts in a 15/64 in (6 mm) hole through the duct wall and is secured with the integral flange and a self-tapping screw. Trim the included 1/4 in ID PVC tubing to length and push-fit one end onto the tip and the other end onto the matching port on the ADPS (P1 = high, P2 = low). Avoid sharp bends or kinks - form a generous loop if the run has to cross an edge. After installation, check all hose connections for a tight, leak-free fit before powering up.
