The Senva PW30W-C is a wet-to-wet differential pressure transmitter using dual remote sensors to eliminate the bypass tubing, snubbers, and isolation valve assemblies that traditional flange-mount dP transmitters require. The remote sensors mount directly to pipe via 1/4 inch MNPT, and a DIN43650 plug-and-play connection eliminates wire twisting between the sensor and the transmitter head. This SKU is the transmitter only; pair with two matching PWT remote sensors (PWT050, PWT100, PWT250, or PWT500, sold separately) - one on each pressure leg - to set the working pressure range.
The transmitter housing is PC/ABS Plastic (NEMA 4X) with an LCD display showing high, low, and differential pressures, and DIP switches for range selection (16 ranges), uni/bi-directional mode, fast/slow response, port swap, and test mode. Output is switch-selectable between 2-wire 4-20 mA loop-powered and 3-wire 0-5V / 0-10V on the same terminal block. Electrical connection on this SKU is Conduit Connection (field-wired). The integrated surge snubber protects the sensor element from water hammer for reliable long-term performance, and manual + remote zero push-button capability maintains accuracy across the service life.
Wet differential pressure measurement where the working range is determined at install time by choosing the matching PWT remote sensor (PWT050/100/250/500): HVAC pump-speed control and demand measurement; Filter dP and clog detection; Process pressure control on water, glycol, and 316L SS-compatible media; System leak detection; Data center wet-side pressure sensing. The remote-sensor architecture eliminates the cost and labor of bypass plumbing on existing installs.
This is a transmitter-only SKU. To complete the measurement loop, pair this transmitter with two matching PWT remote sensors (one on each pressure leg) sized for your working pressure: PWT050 (0-50 PSIG), PWT100 (0-100 PSIG), PWT250 (0-250 PSIG), or PWT500 (0-500 PSIG). All PWT sensors are 316L SS with 1/4 inch MNPT process connection and plug into the transmitter via DIN43650 leads.
Key Features
Dual sensors mount directly to pipe via 1/4 inch MNPT - no bypass tubing, no needle valves, no snubbers, no plumbing-trade dependency. Faster install, fewer leak points.
DIP switches let one device cover 1-500 PSID. Field-changeable without tools or a HART communicator. Re-range for a different application without re-ordering hardware.
Built-in LCD shows the high-side pressure, low-side pressure, AND the differential. Verification at a glance during balancing or commissioning, no DMM needed.
2-wire 4-20 mA loop-powered, 3-wire 0-5V, or 3-wire 0-10V on the same terminal block. DIP switch selects the mode at install time.
DIP switch reverses the high/low channel assignment in firmware, correcting plumbing errors without re-piping. Includes uni/bi-directional mode and absolute mode.
Surge protection on each sensor input shields the strain-gauge element from water hammer, extending service life on pump-controlled and valve-actuated systems.
Local push-button zero (5-second hold) and remote zero via terminal-block input. Hold for 10 seconds to restore factory defaults. Maintains accuracy across the service life.
Remote sensors come standard with DIN43650 plug-in connection - no wire twisting, no mis-wired polarity, faster swap-out for replacement or pressure-range change.
This SKU's housing is PC/ABS Plastic (NEMA 4X). Suitable for indoor and outdoor mechanical-room installation.
Transmitter electronics manufactured at Senva's Beaverton, OR facility. The transmitter itself (without a PWT remote sensor) qualifies for BABAA, TAA, and Buy America procurement.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. This is a transmitter-only SKU. You need to pair it with two PWT remote sensors (one per pressure leg) - sold separately: PWT050 (0-50 PSIG), PWT100 (0-100 PSIG), PWT250 (0-250 PSIG), or PWT500 (0-500 PSIG). Choose the sensor pair that comfortably covers your system's maximum static pressure - your differential reading then uses a sub-range selected by DIP switch on the transmitter.
Two common reasons: (1) you have existing PWT sensors on the pipe from a previous install and only need to replace the transmitter head; (2) you're standardizing on a field-stocked single transmitter SKU and want to pick the PWT sensor size at install time based on field conditions. Also, the transmitter-only SKUs qualify for Buy America / BABAA / TAA; the PWT sensors do not.
The transmitter housing on this SKU is PC/ABS Plastic (NEMA 4X). The plastic enclosure is rated NEMA 4X / IP65, corrosion-resistant, and well-suited to washdown, cooling-tower, and outdoor applications.
This is a conduit-connection SKU - field-supply your own cable through the conduit fitting and terminate at the screw terminals inside the housing. Use 18-22 AWG shielded twisted-pair for analog signals; ground the shield at the controller end only.
Water and any liquid compatible with 316L stainless steel (316L is the wetted material of the PWT diaphragm). Glycols, treated condensate, and most HVAC hydronic fluids are compatible. Steam applications require a siphon tube to keep the sensor below its 250 degF media temperature limit.
A DIP switch on the transmitter board selects the output mode. The same terminal block is used for all three; the difference is the wiring topology (2-wire loop-powered for 4-20 mA, 3-wire for voltage). The transmitter ships configured for 4-20 mA from the factory unless ordered otherwise.
Pressurize both sensor ports equally (or use the bypass manifold if equipped) so the differential is true zero. Then press and hold the local zero button for 5 seconds - the LCD will indicate zero. To restore factory defaults, hold the button for 10 seconds. A remote zero input is also wired to the terminal block for panel-mounted or BAS-triggered re-zero.
No. The PW30 is a standard (non-hazardous) location transmitter. For Class I Division 1 or 2 areas, use the Dwyer / Omega 3100D explosion-proof DP transmitter family instead.
Yes. The PW30W-C transmitter is manufactured at Senva's Beaverton, OR facility and is listed in Senva's BABAA / TAA / ARRA Conformance Declaration (dated 04/21/2026) as a USA-manufactured product with domestic-component cost exceeding 65%. It qualifies under Buy America Act (49 CFR 661.5(d)), Buy American Act (41 USC 10a), BABAA, TAA, and ARRA Section 1605. Note: if you add PWT remote sensors to this transmitter (two are required for a differential measurement), those sensors are imported and are NOT covered by the declaration.
