The Senva PWT250 is a remote pressure sensor accessory for the PW30 series wet-to-wet differential pressure transmitter - a micro-machined silicon strain gauge rated at 250 PSIG, packaged in a 304 stainless-steel body with a 316L stainless steel diaphragm wetted face. Process connection is 1/4 inch MNPT; the conduit fitting is 1/2 inch. The sensor cable connects to the PW30 transmitter via DIN43650 plug-and-play - no wire twisting and no signal conditioning required at the sensor.
Use this 250 PSIG sensor when the PW30 transmitter needs to read across any of these working ranges: 1% accuracy on 0-75, 0-100, 0-125, 0-150, 0-250 PSID; 2% accuracy on 0-30, 0-40, 0-50 PSID. Order in pairs (high port + low port) for new wet/wet installs, or singly as a drop-in replacement element for an existing PW30 already in service. The PWT series is the only field-replaceable element of the PW30 system - the transmitter itself carries a 7-year electronics warranty while the sensors carry a 2-year warranty on the replaceable element.
Replacement-element service on Senva PW30 transmitters whose working differential pressure falls within the 250 PSIG sensor's accuracy table - or new installs where the controls engineer is sourcing the transmitter and sensors separately. Keep one on the shelf as a critical-loop spare; DIN43650 quick-disconnect lets a technician swap the sensor in under two minutes without breaking any plumbing or terminating any wiring.
Key Features
Configurable across 0-75, 0-100, 0-125, 0-150, 0-250 PSID at 1% accuracy or 0-30, 0-40, 0-50 PSID at 2% accuracy on the PW30 transmitter. Senva does not recommend using output spans below 10% of total sensor PSIG for accuracy reasons.
Wetted surface is 316L stainless steel - compatible with water, glycol solutions, and other 316 SS-compatible media. Media temperature rating: 32 to 250 degF (0 to 125 degC); steam applications require a siphon tube.
Compact 304 stainless steel sensor body with 1/4 inch MNPT process connection and 1/2 inch conduit fitting. Mounts directly to the process pipe via tee or saddle - no bypass plumbing required.
DIN43650 form-A plug-and-play connection to the PW30 transmitter. Field-swap takes under two minutes; no wire-twisting, no signal-loss from poor crimps.
Designed as a replaceable component of the Senva PW30 system - the sensor is the field-serviceable element, while the transmitter electronics carry the long-life 7-year warranty.
Each sensor includes an integrated surge snubber to protect the strain-gauge element from water-hammer transients common on pump-cycling hydronic loops.
Designed and manufactured by Senva Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon. Compatible exclusively with the Senva PW30 transmitter series. 2-year limited warranty.

Required Companion - PW30 Transmitter
This 250 PSIG sensor requires the Senva PW30M (Metal NEMA 3R) or PW30W (Plastic NEMA 4X) transmitter for signal conditioning, DIP-switch configuration, and LCD readout. Use 1 sensor for absolute monitoring or 2 sensors for full differential measurement.

No. The PWT sensor is an unconditioned strain-gauge element that requires the PW30 transmitter for signal conditioning, calibration, DIP-switch range selection, and output scaling. Connecting a PWT directly to a BAS analog input will not produce usable data.
With the PW30 transmitter, this 250 PSIG sensor supports 0-75, 0-100, 0-125, 0-150, 0-250 PSID at 1% accuracy, and 0-30, 0-40, 0-50 PSID at 2% accuracy. Senva does not recommend output spans below 10% of total sensor PSIG.
Power down the PW30. Disconnect the DIN43650 cable connector from the existing sensor. Unscrew the sensor from its 1/4 inch MNPT process fitting. Thread in the new PWT (apply pipe sealant), torque per local plumbing standard, and reconnect the DIN43650 cable. Power up and re-zero via pushbutton (hold 5 seconds). No transmitter re-configuration is required if the replacement sensor matches the original PSIG rating.
Water and other media compatible with 316L stainless steel and 304 stainless steel. Media temperature range: 32 to 250 degF (0 to 125 degC). Steam applications require a siphon tube to keep liquid water from reaching the diaphragm above 250 degF.
DIN43650 (Form A) is the industry-standard quick-disconnect for pressure transducers. Field swap takes under two minutes - no wire stripping, no twisting, no risk of crimp resistance affecting signal accuracy. Senva uses the same connector across the entire PW30 system for fully plug-and-play installation and service.
2 years on the replaceable element. The transmitter electronics in the companion PW30 have a 7-year warranty - the split reflects the design philosophy that the sensor diaphragm is the part that sees process exposure and is intentionally designed to be field-replaceable.
