Push Button Stations
Pilla Push Button Stations — ST120, GS120, BSD120, FS120 & More
Pilla push button stations are surface-mount emergency operator stations designed for mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, generator rooms, and equipment areas. The rugged NEMA 1 housing mounts directly to a wall or equipment surface, no electrical box required. Contacts are rated 600V at 10A AC — suitable for direct switching of control circuits or interface to building automation systems.
The key feature of Pilla push button stations is factory labeling for any application. The same physical station — same housing, same button, same contacts — can be labeled Generator Emergency Stop, Boiler Shut Down, Chiller Stop, Ventilation Start, Refrigerant Purge, or any custom text you need. You order the label with the station. No field labeling required.
Actuator options include momentary push button (push-to-actuate, spring return), maintained push-pull (push in to latch, pull out to reset), turn-to-reset mushroom, key-release, and illuminated buttons. Contact blocks (PILNCCB / PILNOCB) mount inside the housing and are ordered separately or pre-installed.

Pilla Wall Plate Stations — WPS Series, Single-Gang & Handy Box Mount
Pilla WPS Series wall plate operator stations mount on a standard single-gang wall box or handy box — the same electrical boxes used for switches and outlets. The brushed stainless steel wall plate gives a clean, professional appearance suited to offices, lobbies, corridors, and anywhere a surface-mount push button station would look out of place.
The WPS series covers the same application range as push button stations: emergency power off (EPO), HVAC shutdown, boiler shutdown, ventilation control, and more. Actuator options include round push button (flush and extended head), mushroom head (turn-to-reset), key-release, selector switch, and toggle switch. Hinged lockout covers (PILCLM) and hinged hard covers (PILCLHCOV) are available as accessories.
The wall plate format is particularly common for EPO applications in data centers and server rooms, where a flush-mounted station at eye level is preferred over a surface-mount box. All contacts rated 600V / 10A. Fits 1–3 PILNCCB or PILNOCB contact blocks.

Pilla Break Glass Stations — Tamper-Resistant Emergency Activation
Break glass operator stations require the operator to break a glass insert to activate the emergency function — providing a definitive tamper-resistant barrier that prevents accidental activation while ensuring the station is immediately usable in a true emergency. No key required. No combination to remember. Just break and activate.
Pilla break glass stations are used in applications where accidental activation would cause significant operational disruption — generator shutdown in a live data center, chiller stop in a critical process facility, or EPO in an occupied server room. They’re also common where code requires a visible, non-keyswitch emergency station but tamper prevention is still required.
Available in push button and wall plate formats with the same application label range as standard stations. Replacement glass inserts are stocked separately (PILBRGLS) so stations can be reset without replacing the entire unit after activation.

EPO Switches for Data Centers — NEC 645.10 & NFPA 75 Compliant
NEC 645.10 requires an emergency power off (EPO) switch in information technology equipment rooms that allows a single person to simultaneously de-energize all electronic equipment and dedicated HVAC systems in the room. Pilla wall plate and push button stations are widely used for this application.
The WPS series wall plate stations are the most common choice for data center EPO — they mount flush in a standard gang box, carry a clean stainless steel appearance, and are available with maintained push-pull, turn-to-reset, and key-release actuators depending on AHJ and facility requirements. The PILCLHCOV hinged cover or the PILCLM lockout cover are commonly specified to prevent accidental activation.
For data center EPO applications where break glass is preferred over a key or cover, Pilla’s break glass wall plate stations provide tamper resistance without a key requirement. All stations are UL listed (UL File E158147) with contacts rated 600V / 10A.
