ACI A/1K-2W-FA-24'-4X : Flexible Cable Averaging Temperature Sensor, 1K Platinum RTD (Two Wires), 24' Probe, NEMA 4X Enclosure
The ACI Platinum Flexible Averaging Series sensors are engineered to provide accurate temperature measurement across larger air ducts, surpassing the performance of single-point sensors. These sensors utilize Platinum RTDs, ensuring reliability and precision. The series features an 18 AWG plenum-rated cable with etched Teflon-colored lead wires, simplifying sensor type identification.
Each sensor includes 4 or 9 sensing points, depending on its length, allowing for better temperature averaging. The sensing elements are protected by dual-wall adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing, offering enhanced moisture resistance. The flexible cable design suits applications with limited operating temperatures but is not recommended for high-humidity, chemical-resistant, or UV-light-treated environments.
Designed for use in air handlers, rooftop units, and air monitoring systems such as supply/return and discharge air, these sensors are widely applicable in data centers and hospitals. Installation is streamlined with included nylon ties and mounts, and sensor length is selected based on duct dimensions. Backed by ACI’s five-year limited warranty, these sensors provide dependable performance in suitable environments.
