The ACI Relative Humidity with Thermistor Wall Plate Series combines a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with a factory-applied hygroscopic filter to provide accurate humidity measurements. The hygroscopic filter enhances the sensor's resistance to moisture, dust, and chemicals, ensuring greater long-term reliability.
These wall plate transmitters deliver a proportional analog voltage output signal, which can be integrated into various systems. They feature integral DIP switches that allow for field selection of the appropriate output signal and supply voltage, ensuring compatibility with the specific requirements of the application.
To verify proper functionality and installation, each unit includes 0%, 50%, and 100% test options. These options enable the user to test the transmitter and ensure it is working correctly.
Field calibration can be performed using the increment and decrement calibration DIP switches, eliminating the need for sensor replacement. This calibration method offers increased flexibility and ensures long-term reliability without the hassle of replacing the sensing element.
The RH Stainless Plate transmitters come with an attractive brushed finish stainless steel single gang wall mounting plate. They are designed to mount over a single gang junction box, providing a convenient and aesthetically pleasing installation.
The PCBs of the transmitters are conformally coated, offering additional protection from moisture and contaminants. This coating enhances their durability and reliability in various environments.
For applications where wash-down environments are present, the RH Stainless Plate transmitters include a temporary plastic sensor cover. This cover provides protection for the RH sensor from chemicals used during the wash-down process, maintaining accurate and reliable measurements.
