The ACI Relative Humidity (RH) Room Series is a line of sensors designed for various applications where monitoring and control of humidity levels are necessary. These sensors are equipped with a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element, which provides accurate humidity measurements. The sensing element has a factory-fitted hydrophobic filter, enhancing its resistance to moisture.
The multilayer construction of the sensing element ensures excellent resistance to dust, dirt, oils, and common environmental chemicals. This feature makes the RH room sensors suitable for environments where such contaminants are present.
The RH room sensors are equipped with on-board DIP switches, allowing users to select the desired output signal. Additionally, these sensors can be powered by either AC or DC power sources, providing flexibility in installation.
For calibration purposes, the sensors feature increment and decrement calibration DIP switches. By toggling these switches, the user can perform single point field calibration, adjusting the humidity curve up or down in +/- 0.5% increments. This calibration method eliminates the need to replace the sensors in the field and ensures long-term reliability.
The RH room series offers two enclosure options, designed to complement various commercial decors. Both enclosures feature four-way airflow, which minimizes self-heating and helps maintain accurate readings.
