The ACI Relative Humidity Stainless Plate is a transmitter specifically designed for applications where monitoring and control of humidity levels are critical. This transmitter features a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element, which ensures accurate humidity measurements. Additionally, it is equipped with a factory-applied hygroscopic filter, providing enhanced resistance to moisture, dust, and other chemicals. This feature ensures greater long-term reliability in demanding environments.
The RH Stainless Plate transmitter offers a proportional analog voltage output signal, allowing for precise monitoring of humidity levels. Integral DIP switches are included, enabling field selection of the appropriate output signal and supply voltage, ensuring compatibility with different application requirements.
To verify proper functionality and installation, each unit contains 0%, 50%, and 100% test options. These options allow for testing and validation of the transmitter's performance.
Field calibration can be performed using the increment and decrement calibration DIP switches, eliminating the need to replace the sensing element. This calibration method provides increased flexibility and ensures long-term reliability without the need for sensor replacement.
The RH Stainless Plate transmitters come with an attractive brushed finish stainless steel, single gang wall mounting plate. They are designed to be mounted over a single gang junction box in the wall, providing a clean and aesthetically pleasing installation.
For added protection against moisture and other contaminants, the PCBs of the transmitters are conformally coated. This coating helps safeguard the internal components from environmental factors that could compromise performance.
In wash-down applications where chemicals are used, a temporary plastic sensor cover is included to protect the RH sensor.
