The ACI Relative Humidity with Temperature Transmitter Duct Series is a versatile device used in various applications to measure relative humidity and temperature. It incorporates a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element, which is resistant to moisture and is equipped with a hydrophobic filter to further enhance its moisture resistance. The multilayer construction of the sensing element ensures excellent resistance to dust, dirt, oils, and common environmental chemicals typically encountered in different environments.
The RH duct sensors come with on-board DIP switches that provide user-configurable options for selecting the desired output signal. Additionally, these sensors can be powered by both AC and DC power sources, allowing for greater flexibility in installation.
Calibration of the RH duct sensors can be easily performed in the field. By using the increment and decrement calibration DIP switches, the user can adjust the calibration curve in +/- 0.5% increments with each toggle of the corresponding switches. This feature enables precise calibration without the need to replace the sensors. The ACI RH duct sensors find applications in various settings such as humidification and dehumidification systems, supply and return RH sensing, economizers, clean rooms, data centers, and process control.
