The PTA2 converts a timed contact or solid-state signal from a microprocessor controller into a smooth analog output with 255 resolution steps. It prevents reset in case of a long pulse. There are seven selectable input pulse rates (available in Versions 1 and 2). The optically isolated input accepts both positive and negative signals, with an optional triac adapter (selectable via jumper) for triac inputs. A jumper also enables manual override, allowing the output to be adjusted between 0-10 VDC to check device operation. In Version 1, the last output holds until the next pulse is received.
