ACI PXP7.3 : Analog Input (0-5VDC), Pressure Output (0-15PSI), Single Valve, 0.007" Bleed Orifice, (0-10V, 0-15V, 0-20mA Selectable)
The PXP*.3 is an electric-to-pneumatic transducer that converts an analog electrical input signal into a proportional pneumatic output. It automatically adjusts its control valve(s) to maintain the branch line pressure at a selected set point determined by the input signal. The PXP*.3 offers four selectable input ranges, resulting in a 0 to 15 psig modulating output (note that the EPC product provides 0 to 20 psig outputs). It also provides a 0-5 VDC feedback signal that corresponds linearly to the branch pressure (0 volts = 0 psig, 5 volts = 15 psig).
PXP1.3, 5.3, and 7.3 are constant bleed controllers, and their branch exhaust response time depends on the bleed orifice size and pressure differentials. In case of a power failure, they continue to release air through the bleed orifice until branch pressure reaches zero psig. A three-way solenoid valve assembly can be used to revert control to the local controller in case of power failure.
