An outlet-mounted 2 inch dual-scale temperature gauge (32 to 210°F) verifies circuit temperature during balancing.
To balance a circuit, pull the flow meter operating ring, read the GPM value directly on the graduated scale, adjust the valve to the design flow rate, and release. The bypass closes automatically after the reading, isolating the flow meter during normal operation for reliable readings over time.
