Dual-Scale Field-Adjustable Knob

Setpoint is dialed in with a labeled knob graduated in both inches WC and pascals. Technicians can commission the switch without a separate digital manometer, which cuts installation and balancing time on large jobs.

Compact 4.4 oz Form Factor

Switch weighs just 125 grams and mounts directly to wall, sheet metal, or via the optional A-288 L-bracket or A-289 S-bracket. The base also accepts snap-on rail clips, so the same SKU works for permanent installs and quick service replacements.

SPDT Relay for BAS/DDC Integration

Three-Side Cable Entry

This SKU is the -04 range, with an adjustable setpoint of 0.12-1.60 in WC (30-400 Pa). Maximum operating overpressure is 40 in WC (10 kPa) and storage temperature range is -40 to 185 F.
What does the dual-scale adjustment knob do?
The adjustment knob is graduated in two unit systems on the same dial - inches of water column on one side, pascals on the other - so a technician can dial in the switching pressure directly without converting units or attaching a manometer. The scale is calibrated for vertical mounting with the pressure ports pointing down; if the switch is mounted horizontally, the actual trip point is approximately 0.08 in WC (20 Pa) higher than the scale reading.
Can the EDPS-04-2-N be used with natural gas or other combustible gases?

What's the difference between EDPS-04-2-N (-2-N) and the -1-N variant?
The connection digit specifies the electrical entry, not the process connection. The EDPS-04-2-N uses an M20x1.5 cable gland with integral strain relief, accepts 7 mm or 10 mm cable sheaths, and can be installed at any of three housing entry positions. The -1-N version of the same range uses a 1/2 in female NPT conduit entry instead. Pressure ports and switch ratings are identical between the two.
What is UL508 and when do I need a UL508-listed pressure switch?
UL508 covers industrial control equipment, including devices installed inside UL-listed control panels. If a building owner, AHJ, or specifying engineer requires the control panel to carry a UL508A label, every component inside that panel must itself be UL508 listed or recognized. The Series EDPS is ETL listed to UL508 and CSA C22.2 No. 14, and its housing plastics are UL94 V-0 rated, which also makes it code-compliant for installation in return-air plenums per NFPA 90A.
How does the EDPS-04-2-N (EDPS) differ from the ADPS series?
The EDPS uses the same switch mechanism and dual-scale knob as the ADPS, but the housing and cover plastics are upgraded to UL94 V-0 flame-rated material and the complete switch is ETL listed to UL508 / CSA C22.2 No. 14.
