Specifications from the Dwyer Series UV Installation and Operating Instructions, Bulletin F-60 Rev. 7 (FR# 443147-00), reviewed 2026-10-18.
Its corrosion-resistant polysulfone body is an ultra-pure, laboratory grade design rated for temperatures up to 212 °F (100 °C) and pressures up to 150 psi (10.34 bar). The body removes quickly for cleaning while all fittings stay in place. Install it indoors only, away from direct sunlight, because polysulfone is adversely affected by ultraviolet light.
Best For
- Indicating air flow from 5 to 50 SCFM
- Applications that need a corrosion-resistant polysulfone body, with media compatible with polysulfone, fluoroelastomer and PTFE wetted parts
- Indoor installations away from direct sunlight, mounted in an exact vertical plane
- Systems operating within 150 psi (10.34 bar) and 35 to 212 °F (2 to 100 °C)
Warranty
Key Features
Corrosion-Resistant Polysulfone Body
Corrosion-resistant polysulfone body for applications where other flowmeters fail. Wetted parts are a polysulfone body and fittings, fluoroelastomer O-rings and a virgin PTFE float.
Dual Scale
Reads 5 to 50 SCFM air.
Easy Cleaning
Self-operating, with no maintenance other than occasional cleaning with mild soap and a bottle brush. The body removes without disturbing the fittings.
Temperature and Pressure Limits
Temperature limits of 35 to 212 °F (2 to 100 °C) and a pressure limit of 150 psi (10.34 bar).
Installation Options
Standard connections are 1 in. female NPT in-line. An optional 90° polysulfone elbow with 1 in. male NPT and the A-801 panel mount kit with polysulfone fittings are available.
Standard-Condition Scale
The SCFM scale is referenced to 14.7 psia (0 psig) and 70 °F (530 R). Readings taken at other pressures or temperatures are corrected back to standard conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Dwyer UV-C112 do?
The UV-C112 measures air flow from 5 to 50 SCFM on a dual scale, using a float in a polysulfone body with 1 in. female NPT in-line connections.
What is the flow range of the UV-C112?
The UV-C112 reads 5 to 50 SCFM air.
What are the pressure and temperature limits of the UV-C112?
The pressure limit is 150 psi (10.34 bar) and the temperature limits are 35 to 212 °F (2 to 100 °C).
How accurate is the UV-C112?
Accuracy is ±2% FS and repeatability is ±1% FS, both at 70 °F ±2 °F (21.1 °C) and 14.7 psia, for the in-line connection rating only.
Does the UV-C112 read correctly at any pressure or temperature?
The SCFM scale is calibrated for standard conditions of 14.7 psia (0 psig) and 70 °F (530 R). At other conditions, correct the observed reading with Q2 = Q1 x √((P1 x T2) / (P2 x T1)), where P1 is actual pressure (14.7 psia + gage pressure) and T1 is actual temperature (460 R + °F). Measure pressure and temperature at the flowmeter exit, or at the inlet for vacuum applications.
Does the UV-C112 include the polycarbonate shield?
The protective polycarbonate shield is an order option designated by the -SHD suffix, and the UV-C112 part number does not carry that suffix. The A-162 in-line fitting replacement kit and A-801 panel mount kit are separate accessories.
Can the UV-C112 be installed outdoors?
No. Series UV flowmeters are for indoor use only or areas without direct sunlight, because polysulfone is adversely affected by ultraviolet light.
How should the UV-C112 be piped?
Install it in an exact vertical plane with structural supports at the top and bottom, and use pipe thread sealant tape. Pipe dope compounds can craze and crack the polysulfone housing. Maximum fitting torque is 22 ft-lb.
