The Dwyer WM2-A-C-07 is a 2 in. brass multi-jet water meter. It mechanically totalizes water usage in U.S. gallons on a sealed dry dial that is read directly at the meter. It is a totalizing meter only and has no electrical output.
The multi-jet measuring element distributes flow around the impeller through several tangential ports, which keeps registration accurate across a wide turndown and holds resolution down into low-flow conditions. The register is magnetically driven and hermetically sealed, so it is completely separated from the water and will not leak or fog. Couplings are 2 in. NPT, and the meter ships with the coupling adapters needed to drop it into the line.
Rated to 160 GPM maximum flow with a nominal (±2%) range of 8 to 160 GPM and a transitional flow of 2 GPM, the WM2-A-C-07 carries a brass body good for 232 psi (16 bar) at up to 104°F (40°C).
Compliance and Safety
Not for potable water use. The brass body contains lead in excess of low-lead limits. Use on non-potable service only, such as irrigation, cooling, filtration, and process or make-up water.
California Proposition 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
RoHS 2015/863 compliant. Media compatibility: clean process or cooling water. Service is water only, within the published temperature and pressure limits.
Best For
- Irrigation system water use and zone-level accounting (non-potable service)
- Cooling systems and condenser or chilled water make-up totalizing
- Filtration systems and backwash volume tracking
- General water monitoring and manual meter-reading routes where no electrical output is needed
Warranty and Service
Coverage follows the Dwyer Terms and Conditions of Sale published in the Dwyer catalog and on the manufacturer website. The Series WM2 is not field serviceable; field repair should not be attempted and may void warranty. If service is required, contact ZOT Supply for a Return Goods Authorization number before shipping the meter back, and include a short description of the problem plus any application notes.
Routine maintenance is limited to periodic inspection and cleaning the integral strainer yearly, or more often depending on water condition. Pull the strainer or back flush the meter to loosen trapped particulates. A loss in pressure with a corresponding drop in flow rate usually indicates a clogged meter screen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Dwyer WM2-A-C-07 have a pulse or electrical output?
No. The WM2-A-C-07 is a totalizing dial meter only and is read at the meter. If you need a pulse output for a BAS, data logger, or submetering panel, the Series WMT2 is the pulsed-output version of the same meter.
What is the flow range of the Dwyer WM2-A-C-07?
Maximum flow is 160 GPM, the nominal flow range is 8 to 160 GPM, and transitional flow is 2 GPM. Accuracy is nominal flow ±2%; transitional flow ±5%.
How must the WM2-A-C-07 be installed?
The meter must be installed horizontally with the register face pointing up. Any other orientation can cause leakage and meter damage. Flush the upstream service line first, observe the flow arrows on the meter body, do not over-tighten the connections, and do not use pipe sealant tape on the meter threads.
Does the WM2-A-C-07 include an inlet filter?
Yes. This model includes the integral inlet strainer. Clean it yearly, or more often depending on water condition, by pulling the strainer or back flushing the meter.
Can the Dwyer WM2-A-C-07 be used on drinking water?
No. The WM2-A-C-07 is not for potable water use because the brass body contains lead in excess of low-lead limits. Use it on non-potable service such as irrigation, cooling, filtration, and process or make-up water.
What are the pressure and temperature limits?
The pressure limit is 232 psi (16 bar) and the temperature limit is 104°F (40°C). Service is water only.
