What temperature range does the SX93530 cover?
-40 to 110°F. Figure interval 10°, division 2°.
Can I install it directly into a pressurized pipe?
No. The installation instructions state that Miljoco industrial thermometers should always be installed in a separable socket or test well, and not directly into a pressurized hydronic HVAC system or process media.
Which thermowells fit this stem?
The datasheet lists W35B, W351B (brass), W35304, W351304 (304SS) or W35316, W351316 (316SS) for the 3-1/2″ stem. Prime the well with a heat transfer medium such as oil, graphite or paste before installing the thermometer.
How do I adjust the viewing angle?
Loosen the angle adjustment screw only enough for the teeth on the joint fitting to disengage, set the scale as near to vertical as possible, and retighten. Do not remove the screw.
What if the liquid column separates in shipping?
Slowly heat the stem with the unit vertical until the separation reaches the expansion chamber, then tap to expel trapped gas and remove it from the heat source. Do not expose the stem to more than 20°F above the top of the scale.

Warranty service requires written notice of the defect within seven days of discovery. Remedy is repair, replacement or credit at the manufacturer's discretion. Normal wear, corrosion, misuse and unauthorized modification are excluded.
