The Prolon PL-PN3-1A-7X-7X is a pre-wired, UL-certified 3-controller HVAC control panel configured with one NC2000 Network Controller with integrated 10-inch touchscreen and two M2000 flexible field controllers. The panel arrives fully assembled and pre-wired in a NEMA 1 industrial enclosure with clearly marked terminal blocks, isolation relays on all digital outputs, overcurrent fuse protection, and wire management channels — ready for fast, clean, repeatable field installation.
What the X Means in PL-PN3-1A-7X-7X
The 7 in positions 3 and 5 designates the M2000 controller type. The X designates the application program — the M2000 is a flexible multi-application controller that can be flashed into different programs including RTU, MUA, FCU, FLX, CHL, HP, HPS, and more. The application is configured at commissioning using the free Prolon FOCUS software. NC2000 Network Controller
The master network controller for the Prolon system. Manages up to 127 nodes on the Modbus RS485 network and provides Modbus TCP/IP connectivity via Ethernet. Includes the integrated 10-inch Android touchscreen running Prolon FOCUS for local configuration, monitoring, and setpoint adjustment without a laptop. Also supports USB and SD card for data logging and firmware updates.
M2000 Field Controller #1
The Prolon M2000 is a multi-application field controller with 9 configurable analog inputs, 5 triac digital outputs, and 3 analog outputs. Supports thermistor, dry contact, 4-20mA, and 0-10VDC inputs. Can be flashed into RTU, MUA, FCU, FLX, CHL, HP, HPS, HYD, and other programs. Application is selected at commissioning.
M2000 Field Controller #2
Second M2000 field controller, independently configurable for any supported application program. Controllers do not need to be related in function — each can serve a completely different sequence from a separate power source. This makes the PL-PN3 suitable for mixed-application installations in a single panel.
Pre-Wired & Ready to Deploy
The panel ships fully assembled with all controllers pre-wired, terminal blocks clearly marked, and fuses installed. Field installation is limited to connecting power, equipment wiring, and communication. Dramatically reduces panel build time and eliminates wiring errors on the job site. Consistent, repeatable deployment across multiple panels on the same project.
Integrated 10” Touchscreen Display
The NC2000 HMI option includes a built-in 10-inch Android tablet running Prolon FOCUS pre-loaded. Allows technicians and building operators to monitor all points, adjust setpoints, change schedules, configure controllers, and run diagnostics directly at the panel — no laptop or separate device required. Password protection and limited access mode available.
Isolated Digital Outputs
All digital outputs on the M2000 controllers are isolated with relays built into the panel. This protects the controllers from load-side transients and provides clean, reliable switching of HVAC equipment. LED indicators on each output allow for quick visual diagnostics of power, communication, and operational status without opening the panel.
Modbus RTU + TCP/IP Network Ready
The NC2000 provides Modbus RTU (RS485) for field device communication and Modbus TCP/IP for BMS integration and remote access via Ethernet. Supports static IP or DHCP. This panel counts as 3 nodes on the network. Up to 127 total nodes supported per NC2000 network. Remote configuration and monitoring via free Prolon FOCUS software.
