Pairs WithSenva EMX Series

The Senva CT-F15 is a flexible Rogowski current transducer with a 15” coil circumference, rated 0 to 6000A with <±1% of reading accuracy from 5 to 6000A and a standard 120 mV/kA at 60Hz analog output. The split-core Rogowski coil wraps large or irregular conductors without the saturation effects of iron-core CTs, carries a 600VAC CAT IV insulation rating (1000VAC CAT III primary), IP67 protection, and a 3m (9 ft) shielded, double-insulated 22AWG lead for connection to the Senva EMX series and other meters accepting standard metering Rogowski coils.

Senva CT-F15 Metering Series Rogowski CT

Rogowski analog transducers measure high-amperage AC current and provide a proportional output for metering devices. The Rogowski coil covers wide amperage ranges without the saturation effects common to iron-core sensors, and selectable coil lengths across the Metering Series make installation easy on everything from single busbars to large conductor bundles.

Each transducer delivers the industry-standard 120 mV/kA output over a 3m shielded, double-insulated lead, holds <±1% of reading from 5 to 6000A, and carries 600VAC CAT IV insulation with IP67 protection — great for data center energy sensing and harsh electrical rooms.

Key Features

Standard mV/kA Output

120 mV/kA at 60Hz analog output — connects to the Senva EMX series and other metering devices that accept standard metering Rogowski coils, with no bulky integrator.

6000A Without Saturation

The Rogowski coil covers 0–6000A with <±1% of reading from 5–6000A, free of the saturation effects common to iron-core sensors.

15” Flexible Coil

Lightweight, space-saving split-core coil snakes around busbars, cable bundles, and irregular conductors where rigid CTs will not fit.

CAT IV Safety Rating

600VAC CAT IV insulation voltage with 1000VAC CAT III primary rating on insulated conductors.

IP67 Protection

Sealed against dust and temporary immersion, with a -30 to 80°C operating range for harsh electrical rooms.

Wide Frequency Range

40Hz to 20kHz response for accurate measurement on distorted, harmonic-rich loads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which meters does the CT-F15 work with?

Any metering device that accepts a standard mV/kA Rogowski input, including the Senva EMX series, which connects to metering Rogowski coils directly with no external integrator. It is not compatible with Senva EM-PULSE or EM-RS485 meters, which use digital CVT transducers instead.

Why choose a Rogowski coil over an iron-core CT?

Rogowski coils cover very wide amperage ranges — here 0 to 6000A — without the magnetic saturation effects of iron-core sensors, and the flexible, lightweight coil installs around busbars and conductor bundles where rigid CTs will not fit.

What size should I choose?

Pick the smallest circumference that closes comfortably around the conductor or bundle: 9” (CT-F09), 15” (CT-F15), 24” (CT-F24), or 36” (CT-F36). All four share identical electrical specifications.

How accurate is the CT-F15?

Less than ±1% of reading from 5 to 6000A, with a 40Hz–20kHz frequency response that holds accuracy on distorted, harmonic-rich loads.
