The TGx-REM kit offers a convenient solution for installations requiring sensors to be mounted at different heights. It includes an RJ45 cable, a plug-and-play sensor extension board, and a secondary TGW or TGM box to relocate one sensor board.
Installation Steps:
- Remove the sensor board from the rightmost position of the primary TG (with LCD) and replace it with the extender board from the TG-REM kit.
- Connect the removed sensor board to the TG-REM board using the red connectors.
- Use the included RJ45 cable to link the two enclosures, plugging each end into the corresponding sensor boards.
Calibration:
- Use the LCD on the primary TG for calibration.
- Alternatively, reconnect the remote sensor to the primary TG for local calibration.
Note: Refrigerant and catalytic sensors in the REM kit need re-zeroing due to GND shift caused by inductors that reduce noise on the RJ45 cable.
