Enhanced Flexibility and Efficiency: Selectable Sub-Ranges in Senva P5 Pressure Transmitter

Senva P5 Universal Dry Pressure Product Overview

The Senva P5 pressure transmitter measures various ranges for building pressure, filter measurement, and static duct applications.

The P5 Series offers an ample selection of pressure ranges as its main advantage. It is available in five models or SKUs measuring Inch Water Column, with each model featuring four selectable subranges for both unidirectional and bidirectional readings, providing numerous options to cover any application from 0” to 25” W.C.

The Senva P5 Pressure transmitter has field selectable 4-20 mA loop powered, 4-20 mA 3-wire, 0-5VDC, or 0-10VDC outputs. At the top of the device is a Zero calibration push button used to calibrate the sensor when it is not measuring any pressure. By pressing the button, the transmitter will adjust the output signal to zero, indicating that there is no pressure being detected. This is important because over time, the sensor may drift and start to report a non-zero output even when there is no pressure applied. A zero calibration push button helps to correct this error and ensure accurate pressure measurements.

The optional duct probe for the P5 pressure transmitter is designed to integrate with the unit or be mounted remotely for static pressure measurement, and it is compatible with both 1/8" and 1/4" ID hose. Installation is easy due to the P5 series being non-position sensitive.

An optional panel-mounted LCD is available for added convenience on the P5 pressure transmitter. The transmitter features LED visual status indications of operation, including a power heartbeat LED, momentary rapid flash indicating auto-zero completion, and continual rapid flash indicating 110% overpressure. The LED feature also facilitates locating the sensor in ductwork.
