The ACI Relative Humidity with Platinum RTD Wall Plate Series by Automation Components, Inc. utilizes a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with a factory applied hygroscopic filter. This filter enhances the long-term reliability of the transmitter by providing added resistance to moisture, dust, and other chemicals.

The RH Stainless Plate transmitter in this series features integral DIP switches, allowing for easy field selection of the proper output signal and supply voltage to meet specific application requirements. It provides increased flexibility in adapting to different environments. To ensure that the transmitter is both working and properly installed, each unit includes 0%, 50%, and 100% test options. These options serve to verify the functionality and installation accuracy of the transmitter, providing assurance in its performance.

Field calibration of the transmitter can be performed using the increment and decrement calibration DIP switches, eliminating the need to replace the sensing element. This calibration process allows for adjustments and fine-tuning without significant hassle or downtime, further enhancing the flexibility and convenience of the system.

The RH Stainless Plate transmitters come standard with an attractive brushed finish stainless steel, single gang wall mounting plate. They are specifically designed to mount over a single gang junction box in the wall, offering a sleek and streamlined appearance. For added protection from moisture and other contaminants, the PCBs of the transmitters are conformally coated. Additionally, a temporary plastic sensor cover is included to safeguard the RH sensor from chemicals used in wash-down applications, ensuring its longevity and accuracy in challenging environments.
