The BAPI Wireless Resistance Output Module (BA/ROM-BLE-EZ) converts temperature data received from the BAPI Wireless Receiver into a 20K thermistor resistance output for the building automation controller. This is a direct wireless replacement for hardwired 20K temperature inputs — no controller software changes required. Scaled for 53 to 120°F (12 to 50°C) with 100 ohm output resolution.
Best for: BAS controllers with 20K thermistor temperature inputs that need wireless sensor data without any controller reprogramming. The ROM makes the wireless sensor completely transparent to the controller.
The BA/ROM-BLE-EZ carries BAPI's 5-year warranty. On lost comm (no transmission for 35 minutes), the output reverts to high resistance (low temperature indication) and the blue LED blinks rapidly. Multiple ROM modules can be paired to the same sensor variable to feed multiple controller inputs.
20K Resistance Output — Factory Calibrated
Outputs a resistance value linearly scaled to temperature in the 20K curve from 53 to 120°F. Factory calibrated — no field adjustment required. 100 ohm output resolution.
Direct Drop-In for Hardwired Sensors
Connects directly to the controller's 20K thermistor input terminals exactly like a hardwired sensor. No controller programming changes needed — the wireless conversion is fully transparent.
Powered Through Receiver
Powers directly through the BAPI BLE Receiver for the first 10 modules. No separate power supply needed. Remote mounting beyond 100 ft requires a separate 15 to 24 VDC supply.
Lost Comm Protection
If no transmission is received for 35 minutes, the output reverts to high resistance (low temperature indication) so the controller knows a fault has occurred. Recovers automatically on next transmission.
