The 22UTH-51 Outdoor Sensor with Weather Shield is a versatile and reliable active sensor designed for measuring both relative and absolute humidity, as well as temperature in outdoor areas. Housed in a durable 4X / IP65 rated enclosure, this sensor is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The sensor employs a polymer capacitive sensor with a stainless steel wire mesh, ensuring accurate and consistent measurements. Users have the flexibility to choose between humidity, enthalpy, or dew point as the output signal. The output signals are active and can be selected as either 0...5 V or 0...10 V. With its multirange capability, the 22UTH-51 offers four measuring ranges for humidity and temperature, providing adaptability for various applications. The accuracy of the sensor is impressive, with humidity accuracy at ±2% between 0...80% RH at 77°F and temperature accuracy at ±0.3°C at 25°C. The sensor is powered by an AC/DC 24 V source, consuming 0.8 VA for AC and 0.4 W for DC. The installation process is straightforward with pluggable spring-loaded terminal blocks and a cable gland with strain relief. However, it's important to note that this sensor should only be used within its specified field of application, and unauthorized modifications are prohibited for safety reasons.
