The PL-AV30-FSD installs in the 30 in. round branch duct serving a zone. Its damper, driven through the 1/2 in. drive shaft, modulates the air delivered to the space, and the 1 in. sleeve small end at the inlet and discharge makes the duct connection. The PL-FSD flow sensor measures the dynamic pressure corresponding to air velocity through the box, and its 1/4 in. high and low pressure ports connect by tubing to the airflow sensor of a VAV zone controller.
