Prolon PL-T200A-WGL Communicating Digital Wall Sensor
Overview
The Prolon PL-T200A-WGL is a communicating digital wall sensor with a white enclosure, grey label and a setpoint knob with a printed +/- scale. It sends ambient zone temperature, heating and cooling setpoints and schedule override requests to its Prolon controller over Modbus RTU (RS485).
A built-in 10KΩ Type 3 NTC thermistor with 1% precision measures the zone, and an embossed momentary pushbutton overrides unoccupied status. The low profile enclosure wires through a numbered screw terminal block or an RJ45 modular jack, and mounting hardware is included for drywall or a standard 2 x 4 in. electrical box.
Best For
- Classrooms, hotels, executive areas, office spaces and other commercial areas
- Zones served by Prolon C1050-VAV, C1050-FCU, M2000-FCU or VC2000 controllers
- Spaces where occupants adjust setpoint with a +/- knob and override the schedule

Key Features
Built-in Temperature Sensor
10KΩ Type 3 NTC thermistor with 1% precision reports ambient zone temperature to the connected Prolon controller.
Setpoint Knob
Rotary knob with a printed +/- scale on a standard 10KΩ setpoint potentiometer, +/- 20% tolerance across the range, sends heating and cooling setpoint adjustments to the controller.
Override Pushbutton
Embossed momentary pushbutton sends a schedule override request to override unoccupied status. Hold for 3 seconds.
Communicating, No Network Address
Talks to its associated controller over Modbus RTU (RS485) at 57600 bps instead of sending a resistive signal, without occupying a network address.
Two Wiring Options
Numbered screw terminal block (INT+, INT-, 24VAC, COM) or RJ45 modular jack.
Low Profile Enclosure
Mounting hardware included for drywall or a standard single-gang (2 x 4 in.) electrical box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which controllers does the Prolon PL-T200A-WGL work with?
It works with Prolon controllers that accept a digital wall sensor, including the C1050-VAV, C1050-FCU, M2000-FCU and VC2000, sending them room temperature, room setpoint and schedule override requests.
How is the PL-T200A-WGL wired and powered?
Land the RS485 communication on INT+ and INT- and 24 VAC power on 24VAC and COM, or use the RJ45 modular jack. Power draw is 2 VA max; C1050-VAV and VC2000 controllers provide an extra 24 VAC and COM pair to simplify powering the sensor.
Does it use a network address?
No. It communicates only with its associated controller, so it does not occupy a network address or count toward the total network device count.
How do occupants override the schedule?
Hold the embossed pushbutton for 3 seconds to send a schedule override request that overrides unoccupied status.
What does the +/- scale mean?
The PL-T200A knob is printed with a +/- scale instead of degrees. Set the connected controller's scale limits to match the sensor's scale.
What do the letters in PL-T200A-WGL mean?
The letter after T200 sets the setpoint knob: C = Celsius (15-30 °C), F = Fahrenheit (59-86 °F), A = +/- scale, B = no setpoint knob. The PL-T200A-WGL has a white enclosure with a grey label.
