Prolon PL-T500-BWL Communicating Digital Wall Sensor
Overview
The Prolon PL-T500-BWL is a communicating digital wall sensor with a black enclosure, white label, backlit graphical LCD and a setpoint knob mounted on a precision rotary encoder. It sends ambient zone temperature, heating and cooling setpoints and schedule override requests to its Prolon controller.
The infinitely turning knob has incremental detents that give mechanical feedback for precise setpoint adjustment. Holding the pushbutton for 3 seconds requests a schedule override, and double-clicking it changes the displayed unit between °F and °C. The sensor wires through a numbered screw terminal block (INT+, INT-, 24VAC, COM) or an RJ45 modular jack, and mounting hardware is included for drywall or a 2 x 4 in. electrical junction box.

Which controllers does the Prolon PL-T500-BWL work with?
It works with Prolon controllers that accept a digital wall sensor on their interface (INT) port, including the C1050-VAV, C1050-FCU, M2000-FCU and VC2000, sending them room temperature, setpoint and schedule override requests.
How is the PL-T500-BWL wired and powered?
Land the RS485 communication on INT+ and INT- and 24 VAC power on 24VAC and COM, or use the RJ45 modular jack. Power draw is 5 VA max; C1050-VAV and VC2000 controllers provide an extra 24 VAC and COM pair to simplify powering the sensor.
