The BAPI Wireless Food Probe (BA/WFP-BLE-PT) measures food bin temperature and transmits via Bluetooth Low Energy to the BAPI BLE Receiver or Gateway. NSF certified with food-safe and dishwasher-safe materials, the food probe eliminates manual HACCP temperature logging by continuously monitoring food bin temperatures wirelessly. Bin clips for most food bin styles are available separately.
Best for: Food service and commercial kitchen applications requiring continuous wireless HACCP temperature monitoring of hot and cold food holding equipment. Also suitable for wet, dusty, or harsh environments including cooling towers, steam humidifiers, and conveyor systems.
Backed by BAPI's 5-year warranty. Calibrated using a NIST traceable reference. Check and replace the battery and O-ring annually. Powered by one BA/BAT-5AA-HIT Lithium ½AA 3.6V high-temperature battery (included). Do not use the BA/LI14505 standard AA battery — the food probe requires the ½AA high-temp cell.
Dishwasher Safe — Follow These Precautions
The probe is designed for dishwasher and hand washing. Confirm the clear cover is hand-tight before each wash cycle. Do not twist the stainless steel probe. Do not use metal brushes. Do not use sanitizers above 150°F — doing so voids the warranty. Typical dishwasher cycles under 165°F wash and 212°F rinse are acceptable.

Bin Clips for All Food Bin Styles
Optional bin clips mount the probe at the correct depth in most food bin styles: BA/FP-CLP4 (SS square bins), BA/FP-CLP5 (plastic square bins), BA/FP-CLP6 (adjustable plastic bins), BA/FP-CLP7 (adjustable SS bins). Kit available as BA/FP-CLP-KIT.
Onboard Memory in Gateway Mode
Stores up to 16,000 readings if communication is interrupted. All stored data transmits automatically once the gateway connection is restored — no readings lost during Wi-Fi outages.
