The Caleffi Z40 is a complete 2-way motorized zone valve assembly featuring a 3/4" inverted flare brass valve body and a Z111000 normally closed spring-return actuator. This combination provides reliable on/off control for hydronic heating and cooling systems. The valve assembly is UL873, cULus Listed, and CE certified, meeting UL 1995 section 18 standards for use in air plenums and ducts. The actuator includes a built-in SPST auxiliary microswitch for control feedback or interlock applications.
The Z40 comes with the NA61241 retrofit kit for simplified installation and compatibility with Caleffi Z1 actuator series. Its brass construction, stainless steel stem, and EPDM seals ensure long-lasting performance and leak-free operation in hydronic systems.
