The Caleffi Z46 is a 2-way motorized zone valve assembly designed for hydronic heating and cooling systems. It combines a 1" sweat connection brass valve body with a Z111000 normally closed spring-return actuator, providing reliable on/off flow control. The valve closes automatically when power is removed, ensuring fail-safe operation and system protection.
This UL873, cULus Listed, and CE certified assembly meets UL 1995 section 18 standards for air plenums and ducts. Featuring a stainless steel stem, EPDM seals, and a durable brass body, the Z46 offers long-lasting performance in demanding hydronic applications. The integrated SPST auxiliary microswitch provides control feedback or interlock capabilities for enhanced system integration.
