The Prolon PL-C1050-RTUS is a single-zone Modbus RTU rooftop controller for unitary systems driven from one space temperature sensor, with four triac outputs, one analog output and three 10K thermistor inputs.

The PL-C1050-RTUS is the single-zone version of the C1050 rooftop controller. It is designed for unitary systems that serve one space and are controlled from a single space temperature sensor, rather than a group of zones.

The sequence set covers preheating, constant cooling supply control and night setback, with PI loops on the control outputs. Configuration is done in software, locally or remotely.

Staging is the same as the multi-zone RTU: up to two heating stages and four cooling stages, or full modulation through the analog output.

How is the RTUS different from the RTU?
The RTUS is built for unitary systems running from a single space temperature sensor. The RTU adds FlexiZone multi-zone management, networked dehumidification and master-controller operation, none of which the RTUS provides.
Is it a BACnet controller?
