Prolon PL-T1100-WGL Networkable Digital Thermostat
Overview
The Prolon PL-T1100-WGL is a networkable digital thermostat with a white enclosure and grey label. A built-in 10KΩ Type 3 NTC thermistor and proportional-integral control loops drive one triac digital output and one analog output, and the thermostat runs standalone or networked with other Prolon controllers over Modbus RTU (RS485), up to 127 nodes.
Outputs and control sequences are configured locally from the circular capacitive touchpad and backlit graphic LCD, or remotely with free Prolon Focus software. The sequences are highly configurable but not programmable. On a network, the T1100 sends its zone demand, group codes and weights, and local occupancy override to a Prolon master controller, and receives outside temperature and occupancy status in return.
Best For
- Unit heaters and baseboard heaters
- Radiant floor heat zones, using the embedded radiant floor sequence
- Exhaust fans
- Discharge air control, with a discharge air thermistor on the auxiliary input
- Zones networked with a Prolon rooftop, heat pump, make-up air or hydronics master controller

Key Features
Built-in Sensor and PI Control
10KΩ Type 3 NTC thermistor with 1% precision feeds proportional-integral control loops for accurate zone temperature control.
Standalone or Networked
Works on its own or on a Prolon Modbus RTU (RS485) network, up to 127 nodes, at 9600 to 115200 baud. Bias and terminating resistors are set by jumpers on the PCB.
Configurable Outputs
One triac digital output and one analog output, each assignable to heating or cooling. The analog signal is configurable as 0-10, 2-10 or 0-5 VDC, and both outputs are protected by a resettable fuse.
Radiant Floor and Discharge Air
Embedded radiant in-floor heating sequence and a discharge air control sequence.
Flexi-Zone Participation
Group codes and voting weights let a Prolon master controller use this zone's demand in Flexi-Zone average-demand calculations and send the results back to drive the T1100's outputs.
Auxiliary Thermistor Input
AUX IN and COM accept a second 10K Type 3 thermistor for zone temperature averaging, radiant floor slab temperature or discharge air control.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Prolon PL-T1100-WGL need a separate controller?
No. The PL-T1100-WGL is a complete thermostat with its own built-in sensor, PI control loops and outputs. It can work autonomously or be networked with other Prolon controllers.
Which Prolon controllers does the T1100 share information with?
When networked, a Prolon master controller (rooftop, heat pump, make-up air or hydronics) detects it automatically. The master can send outside temperature, occupancy, morning warm-up and outside temperature overrides, and Flexi-Zone results; the T1100 sends back zone demand, group codes and weights, and local occupancy override. A Prolon Network Controller can also share outside temperature and occupancy.
How is the digital output wired?
The T1100 opens and closes a triac contact on DO+ and DO- so that an external 24 VAC source powers the load. The output can run ON/OFF or pulsed, for heating or cooling.
What analog output signals are available?
The analog output is configurable as 0-10 VDC, 2-10 VDC or 0-5 VDC, 40 mA max, for modulating, ON/OFF or pulsed control. The load is powered externally or from the same source as the T1100.
How is the PL-T1100-WGL powered?
Connect a 24 VAC source to the COM and 24 VAC pins. The power common is shared by the auxiliary analog input and the analog output.
How are the network address and termination set?
Assign a unique network address (1 to 127) through the thermostat menu. Network wiring lands on NET A and NET B, and bias and terminating resistors are enabled with jumpers on the back of the PCB.
How do occupants override the schedule?
From the setpoint screen, hold a finger on the highlighted area. A 3-second countdown runs, then OVERRIDE ACTIVE is displayed. A moon icon indicates unoccupied mode.
What do the letters in PL-T1100-WGL mean?
The letter after T1100- is the enclosure color (B = black, W = white) and the last two letters are the label color (GL = grey label, WL = white label). The PL-T1100-WGL has a white enclosure with a grey label.
