ACI AIM1.1 : Analog Input, Analog Output, Analog Isolation Module, 1:1
The AIM1.1 is an optical isolation device designed to separate an analog input signal (either voltage or current) from its corresponding output signal. It offers a factory-calibrated linear and proportional output with a 1:1 ratio to the input signal. The AIM1.1 can accept input spans of 0 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC, or 0 to 20 mA and is capable of producing output within the same ranges. It necessitates an external 24 VAC isolation transformer with a floating secondary for power, and it includes an onboard 24 VAC isolation transformer to generate the isolated output.
Applications for the AIM1.1 encompass scenarios such as isolating grounded electrical actuators, fluorescent light dimmers, handling ground loop isolation, isolating variable frequency motor drives, and providing general isolation for analog signal input and output.
