Functional Devices MOD1-07-33MV Rogowski Coil CT Integrator
The Functional Devices MOD1-07-33MV is a DIN-rail mounted, single-phase Rogowski coil CT integrator that converts the 70 mV output of ROPE-series flexible current transformers to the 0.333 Vac analog standard accepted by 333 mV input power meters such as the RIB BACnet family. One MOD1-07-33MV conditions 1 ROPE coil at 0.5% typical accuracy, completing the signal chain for revenue-grade metering on 4,000 to 10,000 A services.
Wiring follows the application drawing in the MOD-series datasheet: the ROPE coil's red and black leads land on the integrator input (Red-Hi, Black-Low), the 0.333 V output feeds the meter's CT terminals, and the module is powered from a 12 Vdc supply at 1.2 A or a 24 Vdc supply at 0.6 A. Linearity is 10%-120% across a 40-400 Hz range, indoors. The MOD series is designed and made in the USA with global materials and carries the Functional Devices 10-year warranty.
Specifications verified against the Functional Devices MOD Series datasheet (rev. 2025.08.12) and Current Transformers family guide C2777D (rev. 2026.03.25).
Best For
- Completing a ROPE Rogowski coil installation on single-phase service entrances and switchgear
- Feeding RIB BACnet power meters from 4,000-10,000 A mains that only a flexible coil can enclose
- DIN-rail control panels where the CT signal conditioning mounts beside the metering hardware
- Revenue-grade measurement chains requiring 0.5% integrator accuracy

Key Features
Converts 1 ROPE Coil to 333 mV
Accepts the 70 mV AC output of 1 ROPE-series Rogowski coil and integrates it to a clean 0.333 Vac full-scale signal, the standard input for the RIBPM413-BC meter family and other Listed 333 mV meters.
0.5% Typical Accuracy
Adds only 0.5% typical error with 10%-120% linearity across 40-400 Hz, preserving the revenue-grade quality of the ROPE coil measurement.
DIN Rail Mount
Snaps onto standard DIN rail inside the metering or control enclosure.
Flexible DC Power
Runs from either a 12 Vdc supply at 1.2 A or a 24 Vdc supply at 0.6 A, fitting whatever control power is already in the panel.
Simple Polarized Wiring
Red-Hi, Black-Low input terminals mirror the ROPE coil leads, and the datasheet's application drawing shows the full coil-to-integrator-to-meter chain.
ETL Listed
ETL Listed with CE and RoHS marks, designed and made in the USA with global materials, backed by the 10-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Rogowski coil integrator do?
A Rogowski coil outputs a low-level signal proportional to the rate of change of current rather than the current itself, so it must be electronically integrated before a standard meter can read it. The MOD1-07-33MV performs that integration and scales the result to 0.333 Vac full scale, the input the RIB power meters accept.
Which ROPE coils and meters does it work with?
Per the datasheet it is for use with any ROPE-series coil (4,000 A through 10,000 A), and its 0.333 Vac output feeds the RIBPM413-BC, RIBPM413-BC-KIT, and RIBTPM413-BC, or any other meter that accepts Listed 333 mV current transformers.
How many coils does the MOD1-07-33MV handle?
It is the 1-phase model, conditioning 1 ROPE coil. Use MOD1-07-33MV for one phase, MOD2-07-33MV for two, or MOD3-07-33MV for a full three-phase service.
What power supply does it need?
A DC control-power source: 12 Vdc at 1.2 A or 24 Vdc at 0.6 A, wired per the application drawing in the MOD series datasheet.
Can I install it outdoors?
No. The datasheet rates it for indoor use only, 5 to 149 deg F (-15 to 65 deg C) at up to 90% relative humidity.
