The ACI A/DLP-010-W-U-D-A-0 is one of ACI's standard catalog DLP Series multi-range differential low pressure transmitters. Unlike the factory-calibrated custom-range variants, this SKU ships with 8 field-selectable ranges set via DIP switches: unidirectional (0-1" WC, 0-2" WC, 0-5" WC, 0-10" WC) or bidirectional (+/-1" WC, +/-2" WC, +/-5" WC, +/-10" WC). The transmitter also provides field-selectable output: 4-20 mA (2-wire loop powered), 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC (both 3-wire) - one SKU works with any BAS controller. Sensing is via a piezoresistive silicon element with +/-0.5% FSO accuracy. This SKU has an integrated 5-digit LCD display for live pressure indication. Made in USA by ACI in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Best For

The standard multi-range catalog DLP variants are ideal for field service replacement, distributor stocking, and applications where the exact pressure range isn't known in advance. One SKU covers 8 different ranges (uni and bi), letting installers commission the system and select the appropriate range after seeing actual operating pressures. Per ACI's published applications: building and duct static pressure, filter monitoring, air flow measurement, and process control.

Key Features

8 Field-Selectable Ranges

One DLP unit covers 8 different ranges via DIP switches: 4 unidirectional (0-1" through 0-10") and 4 bidirectional (+/-1" through +/-10"). Reduces stocking complexity for distributors and service techs - one SKU handles a broad spectrum of applications. Switch ranges in the field after seeing actual operating pressures during commissioning.

Field-Selectable Output

Three output signals selectable on the same unit: 4-20 mA (2-wire loop powered, 16-36 VDC at 250 ohm load), 0-5 VDC (3-wire), or 0-10 VDC (3-wire). SW1 selects between current and voltage modes; SW3 position 4 selects between the two voltage ranges. One transmitter works with any BAS controller input.

Piezoresistive Silicon Element

A piezoresistive silicon sensing element provides linear analog output proportional to pressure, with excellent long-term stability and minimal warmup shift versus older diaphragm designs.

5-Digit LCD Display

An integrated 5-digit LCD shows live pressure readings on the unit cover - useful for installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting. AUTOZERO icon indicates zero-mode entry; OUT OF RANGE icon appears when differential exceeds the selected range. Engineering units (inWC or Pa) switchable via DIP SW3 position 3.

Pushbutton Zero Function

An on-board pushbutton ZERO performs in-place offset calibration. Hold for >3 seconds with no pressure at HI or LO fittings. Long-term drift is primarily offset (not span) - periodic re-zeroing eliminates drift without service interruption.

Finger Pushbutton Terminal Blocks

Spring-loaded finger-pushbutton terminal blocks accept 16-24 AWG wire - no screwdriver required. Watertight cordgrip installed; remove for 1/2" NPT conduit if needed.

Field-Selectable Ranges

Mode (SW3 position 5)Available Ranges (SW3 positions 1-2)
Unidirectional (UNI mode)0-1" WC, 0-2" WC, 0-5" WC, 0-10" WC
Bidirectional (BI mode)+/-1" WC, +/-2" WC, +/-5" WC, +/-10" WC

Default range: 0-10" WC unidirectional. All other ranges are selected via DIP switches SW1 and SW3 on the circuit board. In bidirectional mode, 0 differential = 50% of output range (12 mA / 2.5 V / 5 V). Power off the unit before changing DIP switches - new settings only take effect after power cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ranges does the A/DLP-010-W-U-D-A-0 support?

This DLP unit has 8 field-selectable ranges via DIP switches: Unidirectional: 0-1", 0-2", 0-5", 0-10" WC. Bidirectional: +/-1", +/-2", +/-5", +/-10" WC. The factory default is 0-10" WC unidirectional. To change ranges: power off the unit, set SW3 positions 1-2 for range selection and position 5 for uni/bi, then power back on. Switch settings only take effect after power cycle.

Which output signal should I use?

All three outputs are available on this SKU - select via DIP switches: 4-20 mA (2-wire loop powered) is preferred for long cable runs and electrically noisy environments near VFDs. 0-10 VDC (3-wire) gives better resolution at the controller A/D for span-critical applications. 0-5 VDC (3-wire) is sometimes specified for legacy controllers. Use SW1 to select between mA and Vout, and SW3 position 4 to select between 5V and 10V.

Unidirectional vs Bidirectional - which should I select?

Unidirectional (SW3 position 5 = UNI) is correct for most HVAC applications where HI is always at higher pressure than LO: duct static, filter loading, room pressurization. Bidirectional (SW3 position 5 = BI) is needed when flow can reverse (reversible-flow systems, makeup-air with mode switching). In bi mode, 0 differential maps to mid-scale output (12 mA / 2.5 V / 5 V).

How do I zero the device?

Remove tubing from HI and LO fittings (or short them with a loop). Press and hold the ZERO button for more than 3 seconds, then release. For LCD variants, the AUTOZERO icon will appear on the screen and flash twice on success.

Are accessories included?

No accessories included. Order separately if needed: A/PT-DLP for duct-static pitot mounting, A/DRC-DLP for DIN rail mounting.

What accessories do I need for installation?

Required: pressure-sense tubing (A/10' TUBE, A/20' TUBE, A/50' TUBE, A/100' TUBE), 16-24 AWG shielded cable, 24 VAC or 15-36 VDC power supply. Application-dependent: pitot tube (A/PT-DLP 7" or generic pitot SKUs), DIN rail clip (A/DRC-DLP), pickup ports (A/SP-PUP, A/R-PUP, A/R2-PUP, A/O-PUP-H, A/O-PUP-V). Keep tubing under 75 feet.
