When to Specify the BSD120GM — Red Metal Guard
The BSD120GM adds a lockable red metal guard over the maintained mushroom operator. The guard physically protects the operator from accidental contact while keeping the station clearly visible and identifiable. Specify when the boiler shut-down station is in a high-traffic area where accidental engagement from passing personnel or equipment is a risk. The guard locks to control access while still allowing the operator to be viewed.

Contact Block Selection — PILNCCB vs. PILNOCB
Contact blocks are ordered separately. The PILNCCB (normally closed) opens the circuit when the button is pushed — the standard configuration for boiler shut-down where pushing breaks the control circuit. The PILNOCB (normally open) closes the circuit when pushed. Order the contact type that matches your control circuit design. Contact blocks accept up to 10 AWG wiring.
