Turn-to-Reset vs. Pull-to-Reset — When to Specify BSD120TW
The BSD120TW uses a turn-to-reset operator instead of the pull-to-reset design on the standard BSD120. After actuation, the button is reset by rotating it clockwise rather than pulling it outward. Both are maintained operators that latch on actuation. Specify the BSD120TW when site-specific procedures, facility standards, or AHJ requirements prefer or mandate a turn-to-reset mechanism, or when the installation location makes a rotational reset action more practical than a pull.

Contact Block Selection — PILNCCB vs. PILNOCB
Contact blocks are ordered separately. The PILNCCB (normally closed) opens the circuit when the button is pushed — the standard configuration for boiler shut-down where pushing breaks the control circuit. The PILNOCB (normally open) closes the circuit when pushed. Order the contact type that matches your control circuit design. Contact blocks accept up to 10 AWG wiring.
