When to Specify the BSD120RP1 — Raise-Lid Model
The BSD120RP1 replaces the exposed mushroom operator with a flush momentary button protected by a padlockable solid lid. The operator must raise the lid to access the button, providing two-step actuation that prevents accidental engagement. The solid lid can be padlocked to restrict access entirely. Specify when inadvertent actuation is a significant concern or when access to the shut-down station must be controlled and auditable.

Contact Block Selection — PILNCCB vs. PILNOCB
Contact blocks are ordered separately. The PILNCCB (normally closed) opens the circuit when the button is pushed — the standard configuration for boiler shut-down where pushing breaks the control circuit. The PILNOCB (normally open) closes the circuit when pushed. Order the contact type that matches your control circuit design. Contact blocks accept up to 10 AWG wiring.
