Maintained vs. Momentary — When to Specify BSD120MO
The BSD120MO uses a momentary operator that self-resets when released, unlike the standard BSD120 which maintains its actuated position until deliberately reset. A momentary contact is the correct choice when the boiler control circuit is designed to latch off internally after a brief shut-down signal, or when the application requires the station to be self-resetting for repeated use without manual reset. If your boiler control circuit requires the shut-down signal to persist until manually cleared, specify the maintained BSD120 instead.

Contact Block Selection — PILNCCB vs. PILNOCB
Contact blocks are ordered separately. The PILNCCB (normally closed) opens the circuit when the button is pushed — the standard configuration for boiler shut-down where pushing breaks the control circuit. The PILNOCB (normally open) closes the circuit when pushed. Order the contact type that matches your control circuit design. Contact blocks accept up to 10 AWG wiring.
